I love the way this book is organized. The first four chapters lay down a foundation of knowledge needed to personalize, extend, or customize Fusion Applications. The remaining 11 chapters provide extensive detail (including step-by-step instructions with pictures) on how to make Fusion Applications work for your specific use cases.I'm personally hands-on with Fusion Applications on a regular basis as an advocate (Oracle ACE Director), a consultant, and a product manager building complementary products. The e-book version of this book will be on my iPad as part of my "go to" reference set. 5 stars without question.
I already have the EBS book that these authors have written in past and plus I have used Anil Passi's blog on various occasions for practical tips in Oracle Applications. Therefore I pre-ordered this book as soon as I saw it on amazon. Fusion Applications is a melting pot of various products and technologies that Oracle has acquired in past. Authors have done a real good job in explaining the core technology & extensibility framework available in Fusion Applications. I am half way through with reading the book thus far, and I must admit that Fusion Apps is not as complicated as I once thought after having read a good part of this book. Many of the step by step examples are very practical and can give the consultants a jump start in implementing Fusion Applications without having to first read gigabytes of standard Oracle documentation.
